If my products start getting charged tariffs in the short term for USA shipments, you will not encounter any additional cost until further notice. 

Any import fees or tariffs will for USA shipments be paid before packages arrive to their final destination so there will be no surprise fees when your order arrives (as long as any new rules allow for it). Until I have more details as to the long term implications of tariffs, I will take care of additional charges in the short term.

Why Are There No Extra Fees?

I work with printing partners who manufacture products in Canada and import U.S. orders to New York for shipping via USPS. This allows U.S. customers to receive their orders quickly and affordably.

U.S. customs regulations include a de minimis exemption, which allows goods valued at $800 USD or less to enter the U.S. duty-free and without additional taxes. Since all my shipments to the U.S. fall within this exemption, there are no tariffs or surprise fees when your order arrives. 

While there has been recent news of tariffs on Canadian-made goods, they DO NOT affect the de minimis exception, so my shipping process continues as normal.

What should I expect for my shipments within Canada?

Canadian shipments will continue as normal!

What should I expect for international shipments?

Normally, international regular shipments ship from the USA. To simplify the process, regular international orders will ship from Canada. Please note, this will avoid any fees encountered at the USA border BUT it will no prevent duties applied by the receiving country, as per usual.

What If My Order Is Over $800?

Firstly, what? You'd be the biggest order I've ever had??? But for larger orders that exceed the $800 de minimis threshold, your shipment might be split into multiple packages to ensure it remains tariff-free.

Supporting Canadian Artists

The majority of fabrics used in my products—around 70%—are either made in Canada or sourced from Canadian distributors. This ensures top-tier quality control, reduces supply chain delays, and supports local textile industries.

My prints are all printed locally in Canada and Forest Management Certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.
